Public Sector Council awarded Council of Year at World Workplace 2023

The Public Sector Council are thrilled to announce that IFMA has honored the PSC as the 2023 Council of the Year. This recognition is a testament to the remarkable dedication and hard work of our members and Board throughout the year. Under the exceptional leadership of Lisa VanderHeyden, the Board and our membership actively contributed to a year full of achievements. We proudly supported scholarships through our partnerships with Facilithon, the IFMA Foundation, and offered scholarships for certification training. Furthermore, we developed a series of informative webinars on current, relevant topics.

As we cast our gaze toward the future of the PSC, we envision a promising path ahead. With the invaluable support of new member volunteers, we are elevating our efforts in member communication and website development. New and returning members will receive recognition on our psc-ifma.org website. Our commitment to Professional Development programs remains steadfast, and we will soon be voting on the establishment of a needs-based members-only scholarship program for certification training. Additionally, in the first quarter of 2024, we will embark on a mission to refine our Mission, Vision, Goals, and establish a Performance Scorecard to gauge our council's overall health. Stay tuned for announcements regarding our 2024 Hot Topic Survey scheduled for the second quarter of 2024.
